Jeremiah pens his thoughts down at 10:33 PM
i seldom watch tv. it just so happen that there was some filming in my playground. jauntly strolling out, i saw tay ping hui there, which meant it was a channel 8 production. it was a romance portion of the series, where he held this girl's hand. she looked so young, and as stated above, i rarely watch tv, hence i dont know who she is. well wat the heck. thats not the main point of this blog.
walking further across my playground, i came to this open area where i saw young kids training taekwando. they were so cute. so the instructor asked the kids to run back and forth, with several activities in between. the first one that made me laugh was when the kids were told to hop on 1 foot to point A, switch foot and hop back to the starting point. while the instructor wasn't looking at 1 side, a few of them just stopped hopping, and ran on both their legs, screaming and shouting, to appear to be hopping only when the instructor turned to look at the otherside.
after this happened, something cropped up. the summon lady came! so this instructor ran to the car park across the field, to start his bike, and rode it to the correct parking space. then all his students were shouting, come back come back, as if he was boycotting them or something.
further events that involved the kids were to do leg raises, where 1 of them just laid there in crunches position and started couting without doing any movement.
i remember my childhood days where i was so actively involved in soccer, and the common people that played were always me, keith, shane, erika, alvina, sometimes josh. back then where we still had some hut in the middle of the court, the many things we did, freeze and melt that we always had fun at, and where the playground was still covered in sand, and not the current rubber padding now. there used to be swings, which was one of our joy. nick wasnt doing much of an appearance, mainly due to his confinement at home (and this does still happen).
oh the nostalgic atmosphere of my childhood, brings back so many happy memories, even the time when i fractured my arm. oww that sucked badly. on the contrary, i get a choice to chao geng in army. well it all depends on how i actually want to see it - whether i want to get a silver for my napfa, or purposely fail it. i remember my PSLE days where after every exam, i came back, and waited for 5pm to rush out to play soccer. i was still so slack during my leaving examination.
the joy, fun, and friends made life really happy for me during that period. eventually all of us make new friends, or move out, or go overseas and study, eventually we fall apart, but our friendship bonds would still definately remain, intertwined for the rest of our lives. it sure would be great to meet up again.
